Welcome to Magia by Coky, where we bring the authentic flavors of Argentinian baking to Brisbane, Australia. I'm Coky, the heart and soul behind this dream, and my passion for baking started long before I ever imagined it would take me across the world.

Like many, I found myself with extra time on my hands during the pandemic. Little did I know that experimenting with laminated doughs would open up a whole new world of culinary possibilities. I fell headfirst into the delicious world of croissants, palmeritas, and danesas, sharing my creations with family and friends near and far.

Moving to Australia with my partner, Esteban, was a leap of faith, but it was also the perfect opportunity to turn my passion into a full-time adventure. I honed my skills working in a fantastic local bakery, then began sharing my alfajores at local markets. It was a way to connect with my Argentinian roots and introduce the community to the delights of our treasured treats.

But that was just the beginning. Magia by Coky grew, and so did our menu. We introduced cookies, ricotta cake, pastelitos, and, of course, our signature medialunas! We moved to a commercial kitchen to keep up with the demand and now have our very own shopfront where we can share our love of Argentinian baking with all of Brisbane.

Magia is a team effort, and I couldn't have done it without Esteban, my partner and a fundamental part of this adventure. He's been instrumental in Magia's growth, and his support is what keeps us moving forward. Together, we're bringing a little piece of Argentina to Brisbane.
